What is Gestational Age?

Gestational age is the length of time since the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP). It helps medical professionals determine your due date and track the development stages of your pregnancy.

How is Gestational Age Calculated?

Gestational age is calculated using Naegele's Rule:

• Start with the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP).
• Add 7 days.
• Subtract 3 months.
• Add 1 year (for due date calculation).

Gestational age in weeks = (Current date - LMP date) ÷ 7 days.

Note: This calculation assumes a regular 28-day cycle. Actual due date may vary based on clinical assessment.
